[00:00:00] You made it to Friday, and if you've been with me all week, if you've done the check in, sat through the 92nd weight, maybe even splash some cold water in your face, I want you to take a moment and actually feel that. Not as a performance of self-congratulation as genuine acknowledgement.
You showed up for your nervous system this week. That's not a small thing. That is for many of us, the hardest thing. Today's tool is the one that holds all of it. The one built for integration. The one designed to take everything your body has been learning this week and give it somewhere to land.
Welcome back to your raw regulation on the regulated life. I'm Erica, and I'm genuinely moved to be closing this week with you. We've been inside the trauma loop all week. The dopamine cortisol cycle, the way chaos becomes chemistry. The way peace [00:01:00] can feel like a threat. When your nervous system was trained for survival and we built a toolkit, the check-in the 90-second wait, the temperature shock. Today we bring it home with the spiral reset audio, and I wanna reframe how you think about it, not just as a reset, as a recode. Here's what I mean by recode and why it matters.
Your nervous system learns through repetition and felt experience, not through information alone. You can understand the trauma loop intellectually, and you can know every piece of the science I've shared this week, and your body can still run the old program .Because the old program wasn't installed through information.
It was installed through repeated lived experience Over time, that means the recoding has to happen the same way, the repeated embodied experience of something [00:02:00] different.
Dr. Peter Levine's Somatic experiencing work is foundational here. The idea that unresolved physiological activation doesn't disappear when the threatening situation ends. It stays in the body incomplete until it has the opportunity to complete through a safe, somatic experience.
Every time you give your nervous system an experience of activation, followed by regulation, followed by return to a sense of safety, you're completing an incomplete cycle. You're filing new neural evidence. This is what it feels like when the wave passes.
This is what it feels like to come back to myself. This is what it feels like when my body chooses rest. Instead of the loop. The spiral reset audio was built specifically to create that experience. It meets your nervous system in the activation.
[00:03:00] It doesn't ask you to be calm before you begin. It walks you through a guided somatic return, breath work body awareness, regulated nervous system language, five minutes. Every time you use it, you're making a neurological deposit into a new account. And those deposits compound.
I wanna tell you something about how I built this tool. I built it from the inside out. Meaning I built it in a season when I needed it, when I was in the middle of my own recoding process, in my own unlearning of the chaos as chemistry pattern, when I knew the science and still found myself reaching for the familiar fuel.
I built it because I needed something that could meet me where I actually was, not where I was supposed to be. Not where the healing journey said where I should be by now. Where I actually was. [00:04:00] Activated. Reaching. Not quite ready to let go, but willing to try.
That's who this tool is for, not the people who have already arrived, the people who are almost there, the people who are willing to try even when the loop is loud. If that to you today, and I suspect for some of you after this week, it is, I want you to know this tool was made for exactly this moment.
I am gonna guide you through a shorter version of the spiral Reset right now. A taste of what the full audio holds, so your body can feel the shape of it. Before you access the full tool.
Find your position. Feet on the floor, hands resting comfortably. Let your eyes close or soften your gaze downward.
Take a warm breath just to arrive and through the nose. Out through the mouth. Let it be a [00:05:00] sigh if it wants to be.
Bring your awareness to your body right now, not what you think you should be feeling, but what you are feeling.
Is there tension anywhere? Tightness a place that's holding more than usual. Just notice you don't have to fix it. Just let it be seen.
Now, place one hand on your heart center right in the middle of your chest. Feel the warmth of your own touch there.
And take a breath into that place. Breathe directly into your hand. Let your [00:06:00] chest rise to meet it. And exhale, let the breath carry something out with it.
Again. Breathe in into your hand, into your heart.
And out slow. Releasing.
This hand on your chest is co-regulation with yourself. This is your nervous system learning that care can come from within, that you don't have to manufacture a crisis to feel something. You can feel this.
One more breath in, and as you exhale, I want you to say silently or allow one word, any word that describes what you want your nervous system to feel more of. Peace, [00:07:00] safety, ease, enough, whatever arrives.
Let that word sit in your body for just a moment.
Not as a command, as an invitation. This is where we're going.
Gently take a full breath.
And when you're ready, let your eyes open.
[00:08:00] Here's how I want you to use the spiral reset audio going forward, and this is important. Use it before you need it to work. Don't save it only for crisis. Use it on a quiet Tuesday morning. Use it before the conversation, use it for the conversation, you know, might get hard. Use it on the weekend when things are actually going well and you wanna practice tolerating that because the recode happens in repetition every time. Your nervous system experiences the full arc: activation to regulation to return.
You are building a neural pathway to make the return faster next time, easier next time, more automatic next time.
That's how patterns change, not in one dramatic moment of revelation. In hundreds of small, quiet unglamorous repetitions of a different choice. The spiral reset audio is at mind-fusion.com/audio. [00:09:00] It's free. It's five minutes and it's built for exactly the kind of week you just had.
That's the trauma loop. Named, understood, interrupted, and step by step recorded. You did real work this week. Your body did real work this week. And I want you to carry that knowledge into the weekend without immediately feeling it with noise.
Let there be a little stillness. Let your nervous system rest and what it just learned. And if you're ready to go deeper, if this week cracks something open for you and you wanna work through it in real time with somatic tools and a live container to stop the spiral workshop is where we do that together.
60 minutes Wednesday, April 22nd, $37. The link is in the show notes. I'll be there and I hope you will be too. Until next time, I'm [00:10:00] Erica and this is the Regulated Life. Take good care.
