Let's get brutally honest. Most of us have been taught to look for safety in all the wrong places. We've been told if I find the right partner, I'll feel safe. If I make enough money, I'll finally relax. If I keep everyone happy, i'll stop feeling like I'm one mistake away from being abandoned, but that's a lie, because safety isn't out there.
I've met women with the perfect house, the perfect husband, and a six figure career. Who still feels like they're walking on eggshells in their own skin, and I've met people with nothing, no job, no relationship, and they radiate this grounded peace because they've learned to build it inside themselves.[00:02:00]
Here's the truth, bomb. If you can't feel safe in your own body, you'll never feel safe anywhere else. Your nervous system will find a way to turn even good things into danger. It's like living in a house with a broken smoke alarm. It's always screaming even when there's no fire.

Take a slow inhale through your nose. Fill in your belly first. Hold it for two seconds and exhale with a big sigh. Like you're dropping the weight you've been carrying way too long.
Press gently into your chest and whisper. I am safe in my body.
Inhale again, feeling your back supported by the chair or a wall behind you. And as you exhale, press your feet into the floor and say, this is my home. I am here. I am enough.
Stay here for just a breath or two.
